After I’ve landed yesterday in the afternoon in the youthhostel in Kiel I was happy to be able to discover the ‘Kieler Woche’ – great sailing and music event!
But the 66 km ride against the wind felt like more than 100 km so I felt completely gone into my bed – sorry no blog! 😉
There were many events like surf masters – yes, in the city!
After eating so many delicious snacks I’ve walked along the harbour…
And there was a boat with refugees…an installation from various organisations like ‘ Amnesty International’ and ‘ Brot für die Welt’ to let the people think about what problems other people have.
Than there were many concerts, in the afternoon newcomers, which were really good!
Today after having breakfast I decided to take the train as my muscles didn’t say ‘go on’ – so I had a closer look to the harbour again.
And finally I’ve visited a oceananic research center which is called ‘Geomar’ – they also got seals on an outside basin. And some poisonal fishes, too…
I was really happy to enjoy the city and the ride to the camping site here next to the beach with sunshine…now it’s raining a little bit – but at the coast the weather changes very quickly.
